Little Free Library DedicationGirl Scout Troop #45492 officially dedicated four Little Free Libraries across Ralston Public Schools Saturday afternoon.  The libraries are part of a Silver Award project that will have a lasting impact on families across our district.

Leilani Bedell, Ella Johnson, Karen Kalilangwe, and Kendall Nothhorn all planned, presented, and led the project to completion.  Four members of the Ralston Public Schools Board of Education sponsored a library financially.  Heather Johnson, Linda Richards, Tresha Rodgers, and Deb Gerch all committed to the project during a troop-led presentation to the Board of Education earlier in 2017.  Gerch sponsored Karen Western's Little Free Library in memory of her friend and longtime Ralston educator, Dee Huff.

Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization that, "inspires a love of reading, builds community, and sparks creativity by fostering neighborhood book exchanges around the world."

We are deeply grateful for Troop #45492's leadership and investment in the Ralston Public Schools community!
