Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the Ralston Public Schools website. I am both honored as well as
humbled to serve all of you, our students, and our community as Superintendent.
The Ralston Public Schools serve approximately 3,000 students in a seven square
mile area in the communities of Ralston and Omaha. Established in 1908, the
Ralston Public Schools have a long tradition of excellence in academics, activities,
and athletics. Ralston has six elementary campuses, Ralston Middle School, and
Ralston High School. The Ralston Public Schools serve a very diverse student
population using a rich variety of research based instruction programs and
curricular offerings to meet the needs of all learners. The Ralston Public Schools
are committed to outreach, service, and stewardship for all students, parents, and
community members.

Using the guiding principles of Achievement, Character, and Technology, the
Ralston Public Schools Board of Education, administration, and staff make
decisions and work with a laser-like focus on providing world-class opportunities
for our students. Ralston serves students in grades PK-12 with the goal of
delivering authentic, individualized instructional plans as globally as possible.
Community based extended learning opportunities are available to students
at all levels making Ralston a unique learning environment within the Omaha
Metropolitan Area. All 8 schools within the Ralston Public Schools are accredited
by the Nebraska Department of Education and by AdvancED.

Please accept an open invitation to contact me or any of our schools if you have
any questions or have a desire to learn more about our school system. I am
proud to have all of our staff here to serve our students and community in a
safe and caring environment. If there is anything I can do to be of service please
contact me immediately and I will do my best to deliver. I want to thank all of our
stakeholders for everything you do to make the Ralston Public Schools such an
outstanding organization.

Sincerely,

Dr. Mark Adler

Superintendent
