Geri Kaufman is the literacy and technology specialist at Mockingbird Elementary and Karen Western Elementary. She started teaching in Ralston Public Schools in 2006, working in sixth grade for eight years and one year in fifth grade before moving to the literacy and technology specialist position in 2014. Kaufman has her Elementary Education degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her Master's degree from Doane College. Her library endorsement is from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Beyond teaching, Kaufman loves her family! She lives with her husband, daughter, son, and their crazy dog. In her spare time, she likes to read, run, be outside enjoying the nice weather, spend time with her family, or use technology.

Lisa Gustafson is the media para at Karen Western. She started at Seymour as a resource para in 2014, then moved to Karen Western in 2016. She has been involved with Karen Western since her oldest son started kindergarten in 2005.

Gustafson lives with her husband, two sons, daughter, and an ever-changing assortment of pets (always at least one guinea pig, but usually more). In her spare time she enjoys reading, sewing, crafts, and cake decorating.

Ms. Young is the media/computer paraprofessional at Mockingbird Elementary.  She started at Mockingbird in 2005 as a classroom paraprofessional.  In 2013, she moved to the media position.

She enjoys working in the media center and loves working with the students and staff at Mockingbird!  In her spare time, Ms. Young likes to volunteer at church and spend time with friends.  She also enjoys reading, sports, and movies.
