Mrs. Melissa Sedlak, Counselor
Mrs. Sedlak works with students whose last names begin with N-Z.
With more than 15 years of education in the Ralston Public Schools, Mrs. Sedlak serves as the Director of Counseling, is a Hope Squad advisor, and serves on the district's Crisis Response Team.
Mrs. Sedlak is married with two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking and baking.

Mr. Mike Burling, Counselor
Mr. Burling works with students whose last names begin with A-F. With more than 20 years experience in education, and many at Ralston High School, Mr. Burling serves as both a counselor and the substance-free youth coordinator at RHS.
Mr. Burling is married with four children. He enjoys spending time with his family and attending his children's activities.

Mrs. Tara Vaughn, Counselor
Mrs. Vaughn works with students whose last names begin with G-M. Mrs. Vaughn has 20 years experience in education and has worked as a high school teacher and elementary and middle school counselor prior to coming to Ralston High School. Mrs. Vaughn serves as a member of the Guiding Coalition Team and is the Academic Student Watch Team coordinator for RTI.
Married with one son, Mrs. Vaughn is passionate about traveling, her son's activities, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Beth McGrath, Registrar and Counseling Department Secretary
Mrs. McGrath taught English at Ralston High School for thirty-three years before retiring and then coming back to work in the counseling office. As registrar she manages student records, enrollment and assists students coming to the counseling office.
She has two grown children and one granddaughter. She enjoys time with her family.
