Mrs. Christi Krist

Mrs. Christi Krist has been teaching Family and Consumer Science since 2012.  She has been teaching at Ralston High School since 2014.  Prior to becoming a FCS teacher, Mrs. Krist taught computers at the elementary level from 2008 - 2011.  

Mrs. Krist's first alma mater is Iowa State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design.  She worked in the fashion industry from 1991 - 2008 as a Bridal and Formal Wear Designer.  Mrs. Krist graduated with her Masters of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education in May of 2012 from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. 

Mrs. Krist has been the FCCLA advisor at RHS since the 2016-17 school year.  She is passionate about students taking advantage of the leadership opportunities offered in FCCLA.  FCCLA is a national Career and Technical Student Organization whose motto is Towards New Horizons.  Students are encouraged to Go For the RED in all they do, whether it is community service, being a chapter officer, learning leadership skills, or just getting out there and meeting other FCCLA members in the Omaha area, in Nebraska, and in the country.
