The Analysis Report

What Is Included?

  • Following a thorough visit to each RPS building by an external team, the draft facilities needs that were identified have been divided into three categories:

    • Immediate Needs
    • 1-5 Year Needs
    • 6-10 Year Needs

The initial report presented to Ralston Public Schools' Board of Education on October 22nd incorporated feedback from Ralston Public Schools' Community Engagement process, RPS staff and leaders, as well as the needs identified by visiting experts.

Immediate needs focus mostly on safety and security improvements (for example, reconfiguring some building entrances) and addressing systems at the end of, or beyond, their expected lifespan.

What Is Next?

  • The Ralston Public Schools Board of Education received the initial report at its Monday, October 22nd meeting for consideration. There will be additional opportunities for stakeholder input as the needs analysis is further considered and potentially revised before developing any long-term facilities plan.
