Mr. Jim Frederick was excited to join the Ram Family as the Director of External Relations & Engagement in September of 2019. Mr. Frederick comes to Ralston with over 15 years of experience in marketing, public relations, volunteer recruitment and non-profit fundraising for child-serving organizations throughout the Omaha metro area.

In this position, Mr. Frederick guides the overall communications efforts for Ralston Public Schools. He facilitates opportunities to tell the many great stories of our school community. Mr. Frederick especially enjoys highlighting the accomplishments of our students, business partners, and other school district partners.

Coming from a family of educators, Mr. Frederick values the dedication and passion they put forth daily to help students realize their potential and build their futures. The educators in Ralston Public Schools do a tremendous job of surrounding students with that support and encouragement every day.

Outside of his position, Mr. Frederick enjoys spending time with his family; wife Jill, daughters Maggie and Mackenzie and Obi, the family dog. He serves as the Ward IV representative on the La Vista City Council and volunteers his time as a youth basketball coach.
