    Football:

     

    The fooball team is now 0-2 losing to Beatrice 47-21 and Plattsmouth 55-7.  The team is at Bryan this Friday (9/10) for a 7 pm kick-off.

    Softball is now 6 and 5 losing two games this past Saturday to Elkhorn and Hastings.  The team has wins over DC West, York, Waverly, Duschesne, Platteview, and Plattsmouth.  The girls play tonight at home vs Blair at 630.  The girls travel to Ashland for a tournament on Saturday (9/11).  

    Raquel Skerston and Kevin Santos both placed 8th at their Cross Country meet in Beatrice this past Saturday.

    Girls golf got second as a team at the Lincoln High golf scramble last week.

    Volleyball lost a tough 5 set match to Platteview last Tuesday.  The girls are now 1 and 4; their victory was against Nebraska City.  The girls play in the Norris Invite on Saturday 9/11.

    The boys tennis team defeated Bellevue East last week.

  • Softball 2021

    Hey, softball is off to a strong start as the girls won the Cougar Classic played at Gross HS.  The girls defeated DC West 6 to 0 and then beat Duchesne 8 to 0.  RHS played Waverly in the finals and beat the Vikings 9 to 4.  The girls play Tuesday 8/24 at home vs undefeated Nebraska City.  JV game is at 5 and varsity to follow.  GO RAMS!  

    Games are played at Wager Field just east of 84th and Park Drive.

  • Fall Sports

    We had a great turnout for Rams Under the Lights last night as we open the fall sports season.  Make sure you check out the sports calendar at Trailblazerconference.org to see when the Rams are competing.

    Volleyball will play in a jamboree event Thursday 8/19 at Roncalli.  The girls play at 5 pm vs Roncalli and then play Burke right after that.

    The softball team travels to Gross on Thursday 8/19 to play DC West at 6:15 and then will play Duchesne at 8 pm.

  • Plattsmouth BB Protocols

    Here are the protocols for basketball at Plattsmouth on Thursday.  The girls varsity plays at 5 and the JV plays at 7 and the boys jv plays at 5 and the varsity at 7.  The JV games are at Plattsmouth Middle School:

     

    Admission: No student sections are allowed. PHS stands are small. The stands will be marked w/tape indicating (green and red) where fans can sit. We are asking that family members or grandparents attend the contest. We will allow 4 family members or grandparents per participant at this time. We will use a tally system using the roster to identify which player attendees are with. Family groups have to sit together and should be 6 ft. apart from another family group. Away spectators will sit on the far side of the court facing the scorers table.

     

    When entering the facility, fans will be required to use hand sanitizer and have temp taken. Anyone that is sick or at risk is encouraged to stay home.

     

    Spectators are expected to exit the facility at the conclusion of each game.

     

    $5.00 Adults $4.00 Students who have a family member playing- No visiting cheerleaders or pep bands are allowed. Bus drivers will be admitted at no charge.

     

    Sanitizer: We will have hand sanitizer at the scorer’s table.

     

    Masks: Cloth face coverings are required to enter the facility. Players on the bench should have masks on when not competing in the contest. Coaches need to wear masks/face coverings at all times. Spectators are required to wear a face covering while inside the building. When not competing, players need to wear face coverings and maintain physical distance.

    The wrestling team placed second at the Wisner-Pilger Invite this past week.  Top finishers were:

    Desota Kozial - 3rd

    Jeremy McKee - 1st

    Braden Anaya - 4th

    The team duals Waverly on Thursday at 7 pm.

  • Basketball Update 1/12

    The girls basketball team is now 0 and 9.  The play today (1/12) at Concordia with the JV at 545 and the varsity at 645.

    The boys team is now 2 and 7 and play Mount Michael at home today (1/12) at 530 and 715.

     

    Recently the boys defeated Gross 53 to 45 with Josh Kilzer leading the team with 18 points.

    The boys lost to Bennington this past Saturday 80 to 77.

  • Concordia Protocols

    Here are the covid protocols for the girls game on 1/12 at Concordia; JV plays at 545 and varsity at 645:

     

    Concordia follows the guidelines of the City of Omaha Mask Mandate which requires masks to be worn inside any public building.

     

    Basketball/Wrestling

    • All attendees are asked to self-screen. Anyone not feeling well, with a fever, dry cough,

    or difficulty breathing should not attend.

    • All spectators are expected to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth at all times.
    • There is a single entrance/exit into the gym for all spectators.
    • Hand sanitizing units will be available for use.
    • 490 fans may sit on each side of the gym. Household members should sit together and remain socially distant from other spectator groups.
    • Parties at games are strongly encouraged to maintain six (6) feet distance from any other party.
    • Concordia students in grades 6-12 may sit in the Concordia student section and will wear a mask at all times when in the student section. Students that wish to eat or drink will move to specified eating sections.
    • All other student spectators of any age should sit with and be supervised by an adult. 
    • When girls and boys JV games are played simultaneously, only 3 household members per participant will be admitted as spectators.
    • Restrooms located in the Commons will be used by spectators from both teams.
    • The concession stand will be open. Be sure to social distance while eating.
    • Credentialed press and photographers are welcome and will follow the rules of spectators, with additional sideline access.
    • Please refrain from congregating in the gym after the conclusion of games or matches.  Guests need to leave the building promptly to avoid crowding in the gym or commons area.

  • Boys and Girls Basketball

    The boys basketball team lost to York in OT and to Blair by six.  The boys won at Nebraska City 53 to 41.  The game vs Mount Michael is postponed until January 12th.  The boys play Saturday 12/19 at Concordia (Jv at 430 and Varsity at 6).

    The girls team lost to York, Blair, and Nebraska City.  The girls lost to Duchesne this past Saturday and will play at Auburn on December 17th (JV at 530 and Varsity at 7).
