As Ralston Public Schools' Assistant Superintendent for Business, Mr. Buckingham oversees finance, food service, transportation, legislative relations, budgeting, and school safety for the district. 

Mr. Buckingham joined the staff at Ralston High School in 1999 as a business teacher, activity sponsor, and coach.  After teaching, he served as the lead teacher/administrator of Ralston Public Schools' alternative education program.  Mr. Buckingham then earned a promotion to Assistant Principal at Ralston High School with responsibilities including student discipline, staff evaluation, and performance monitoring.  After three years as an Assistant Principal, Mr. Buckingham moved to Ralston Middle School as Principal of that building for the next five years.

Mr. Buckingham chose to work in educational leadership because he enjoys the challenge of providing the best educational opportunities Ralston can provide.  Diligently and prudently focusing the district's resources toward the educational advancement of Ralston students provides a great deal of personal reward for him throughout the year.
