Dr. Tiffanie Welte

Dr. Welte has served Ralston Public Schools as the Director of Secondary Education since July 2014.  Dr. Welte leads curriculum development teams in all academic content areas for grades 7-12, secures instructional resources, monitors student achievement, organizes district and state achievement assessments, facilitates professional development for continuous improvement, manages grant funds, and more.

Her service to Ralston began in July 2004 as an Assistant Principal at Ralston High School.  Prior to coming to Ralston, she served as a CADRE Associate and high school English teacher in Papillion-La Vista Community Schools, high school English teacher at Waverly Senior High School, and language arts teacher at middle and high schools in the Rockwood School District of Eureka, Missouri.

When Dr. Welte reflects on her work and leadership philosophy, she cites a quote by Harry Firestone, “You get the best out of others when you give the best of yourself.”  This quote serves as a thesis for her decision to serve in an educational leadership role.  She desires to help make positive change happen for students and their families in an effort to cultivate a love of learning, create opportunities, improve lives, and promote our democratic society.
