Enrollment for pre-kindergarten begins the first Monday in February for the following school year.

First, it is important to consider whether your child is eligible for pre-kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year.
The child must reside in the Ralston Public Schools attendance area. Students who reside outside those boundaries are not eligible for our pre-kindergarten program.
If your child turns 4 on or between August 1, 2023, and July 31, 2024, your child is pre-kindergarten eligible.

If your child’s birthdate is between August 1, 2019, and July 31, 2020, your child is pre-kindergarten eligible.

If your child is eligible for pre-kindergarten, these are the steps to enroll:
1. Review the 4 Year Pre-Kindergarten Info Letter (in English or Spanish) or the New Enrollment Information Packet (in English and Spanish) for information regarding the steps to enroll your child and the items needed to enroll your child(ren).
2. Complete the online portion of enrollment at https://enrollment.esu3.org.
3. Take the necessary documents (explained in the packet linked above) into our Central Office (8545 Park Drive Ralston, NE 68127). Our front-desk secretary will help take it from there.
4. Your child's birth certificate is required to complete Pre-Kindergarten registration. If you do not have your child's birth certificate we advise that you request one from the state as soon as possible.http://dhhs.ne.gov/Pages/vital-records.aspx#birthcertificate

Space for pre-kindergarten is limited, we recommend applying early.
The registrar will contact you once your information and documents are processed to schedule a screener. The first screening date will be in March.
An approval letter, including where your child will attend pre-kindergarten will be sent out through the USPS in May.
If you need access to a computer, no problem! Each school and our Central Office (8545 Park Drive) will have a computer available.
