Ralston High School Principal Recognized
The Nebraska State Association of Secondary School Principals has selected Ralston High School Principal Mrs. Jesse Tvrdy as the 2019 Outstanding New Principal of the Year.
During her time at RHS, she has implemented a new online learning platform, helped to remove her school from the AQuESTT's "Needs Improvement" status, led implementation of a new district-wide evaluation system, increased her school's communication with the community through social media and worked to bring awareness and training around trauma-informed care, inclusive practices, and cultural awareness.
Superintendent Dr. Mark Adler has this to say about Mrs. Tvrdy. "Mrs. Tvrdy is an excellent educator and person who continues to demonstrate outstanding leadership. I am confident that she conducts a very positive school climate that is conducive to learning. One thing is for sure, Mrs. Tvrdy will never fall short in any of her duties as they relate to empathy, dedication, mentoring of students and staff, enthusiasm, willingness to learn and try new things, and overall devotion to doing what is best. She brings positive energy every day and makes Ralston High School a great place for students and staff."
